Keeping in Touch

The AFP branch of the SNJ runs both a distribution mailing list for its members, and a more focused discussion list for more active militants. Messages are exchanged in both French, which is of course the default language, and English.

These structures are indispensable not only for exchanging documents and ideas between ourselves, but also for debating what stances we take on AFP-related issues, and working together on the statements we publish.

Such tools are all the more useful given that our members are in AFP bureaus and services scattered around the world, and therefore cannot be gathered together in the same time and place.

Any AFP journalist - whatever his or her status - who is a paid-up SNJ member is welcome to join either or both of our mailing lists, and indeed membership is proposed to all new members.

Any SNJ member who works for AFP, and is not currently a member of our mailing lists is welcome to join by writing to the address given at the bottom of this page.
